Admissions

What is the age requirement for admission?

Age requirements vary by class. Class 8: 12-14 years; Class 9: 13-15 years; Class 10 (Lateral): 14-16 years; Class 11: 16-18 years; Class 12 (Lateral): 17-19 years. A waiver of up to 90 days may be granted to promising students.

What is the admission process?

The process has 4 steps: (1) Submit online application with documents, (2) Appear in online entrance test, (3) Interview and medical checkup for shortlisted candidates, (4) Final merit list and enrollment.

Can girls apply for admission?

Yes, girls are welcome to apply. The college accepts both boys and girls and provides separate residential facilities with proper security and supervision.

What documents are required for admission?

Required documents: B-Form or CNIC, recent passport-size photographs (4x6), School Leaving Certificate, previous class result sheet, medical certificate (to be obtained after selection), and character certificate from current school.

Is there a scholarship program?

Yes, we offer scholarships and fee concessions for: (1) Wards of Shuhada (martyrs) - up to 50% concession, (2) Wards of Armed Forces personnel - up to 30% concession, (3) Merit-based scholarships for top performers.

What is the seat distribution?

Seats are distributed as follows: 75% open merit (civilians), 20% reserved for wards of armed forces personnel, 5% reserved for wards of Shuhada. Final selection is purely on merit.

Fees & Financial

What are the current monthly fees?

Monthly tuition fees: Class 8: Rs 27,500; Class 9-10: Rs 35,000; Class 11-12: Rs 40,000. These fees include tuition, boarding, meals, and basic facilities. Additional charges apply for transportation and special activities.

Is there a one-time admission fee?

Yes, there is a one-time admission fee of Rs 50,000 (approximate) payable at the time of enrollment. This covers registration, uniform, books, and initial supplies.

What is included in the monthly fee?

Monthly fees include: (1) Tuition and academics, (2) Hostel accommodation, (3) All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks), (4) Basic utilities (electricity, water), (5) Access to library and computer labs, (6) Sports and co-curricular activities.

Can fees be paid in installments?

Yes, fees can be paid monthly or in installments. Special arrangements can be made for families facing financial difficulties. Contact the admissions office to discuss options.

Are there additional charges beyond monthly fees?

Yes, additional charges may apply for: (1) Transportation (if opted), (2) Special coaching or tutoring, (3) Optional activities (sports coaching, music lessons), (4) Educational tours and field trips, (5) Uniform replacements beyond initial issue.

What is the fee refund policy?

If a cadet withdraws within 7 days of admission, 90% of fees are refunded. If withdrawal occurs after 7 days but within a month, 50% refund. No refund after one month of enrollment. Request for refund must be submitted in writing to the Principal.

Academic Life

What is the curriculum followed?

We follow the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) curriculum. Classes 9-10 lead to SSC (Matriculation), Classes 11-12 lead to FSc (Intermediate). We also provide enrichment programs beyond FBISE curriculum.

What are the subject choices for higher classes?

For Classes 11-12, cadets can choose: (1) Pre-Medical: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, (2) Pre-Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science. Stream selection is made based on performance and aptitude.

How large are the classes?

Class sizes are kept small, typically 20-25 cadets per class. This ensures personalized attention and better teacher-student interaction.

What is the school day schedule?

Typical school day: Classes 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (with breaks). After that, cadets have sports (4:00-5:30 PM), evening study (6:00-7:30 PM), and dinner. Evening clubs and activities follow from 8:00-9:30 PM.

Are there exam chances if a cadet fails?

For internal exams, cadets can retake failed subjects. For FBISE board exams, students must pass all subjects. Special coaching is provided to cadets at risk of failing.

Do you offer coaching for entrance tests?

Yes, cadets receive guidance for university entrance tests including NTS, MCAT (medical entrance), and engineering entrance exams. Mock tests and coaching sessions are conducted regularly.

Hostel & Residential Life

What are the hostel facilities?

Hostels provide: (1) Spacious rooms (double or triple occupancy), (2) 24/7 security and CCTV monitoring, (3) Separate hostel blocks for boys and girls, (4) Common rooms with TV and indoor games, (5) High-speed WiFi, (6) Laundry service.

What is the daily routine in the hostel?

Daily routine: 6:00 AM wake-up and assembly, 6:30 AM breakfast, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM classes, 4:00-5:30 PM sports, 6:00 PM dinner, 6:30-7:30 PM evening study, 8:00-9:30 PM clubs/activities, 10:00 PM lights off.

Can cadets visit home on weekends?

Yes, cadets can visit home on designated weekends (usually 2nd and 4th weekends of each month). Special permission can be requested for urgent matters. Summer and winter holidays are given as per academic calendar.

What are the discipline rules?

The college maintains strict discipline. Main rules: (1) Mandatory attendance (absent students cannot appear in exams), (2) Respect for seniors and staff, (3) No use of mobile phones during class/study hours, (4) Prohibition of smoking and drugs (expulsion for violations), (5) Proper uniform and grooming standards.

What happens if a cadet violates rules?

Violations are handled progressively: (1) First offense - warning, (2) Second - detention or extra duty, (3) Serious violations - suspension from activities or final warning, (4) Extreme cases (drugs, violence, dishonesty) - expulsion.

Are parents allowed to visit?

Yes, parents can visit on designated visiting days (usually first Sunday of each month). Special visits can be arranged with prior permission from the Principal. Video calls and phone calls are allowed on specified evenings.

Sports & Activities

What sports are offered?

Sports offered: (1) Cricket, (2) Football/Soccer, (3) Badminton, (4) Table Tennis, (5) Basketball, (6) Volleyball, (7) Athletics/Track & Field, (8) Swimming, (9) Martial Arts. Sports are mandatory for all cadets.

Are there inter-school competitions?

Yes, cadets participate in inter-school and inter-college competitions throughout the year. The college organizes annual sports day and participates in regional tournaments.

What co-curricular activities are available?

Activities include: (1) Debate club, (2) Quran committee, (3) Art and craft, (4) Music and cultural programs, (5) Scouts, (6) Science club, (7) Photography, (8) Drama and theatre, (9) Model United Nations, (10) Social service club.

Are there house competitions?

Yes, the college operates a house system where cadets are divided into houses. Houses compete in sports, academics, and co-curricular activities throughout the year. Inter-house competitions build team spirit and leadership.

Is participation in activities mandatory?

Yes, participation in at least one sport and one co-curricular activity is mandatory. This ensures overall development beyond academics.

Health & Safety

Is there a medical facility on campus?

Yes, there is a fully equipped medical clinic with a qualified doctor and nursing staff available 24/7. The clinic can handle common illnesses and emergencies. Serious cases are referred to nearby hospitals.

What if a cadet gets seriously ill?

In case of serious illness or emergency, the college immediately contacts parents/guardians and arranges hospitalization at nearby medical facilities. All medical expenses are borne by parents unless covered by insurance.

Are cadets covered by health insurance?

The college has group health insurance covering major illnesses and hospitalization. However, parents may also arrange additional coverage. Details are provided at the time of admission.

What are the food safety standards?

Our dining facility follows strict food safety standards: (1) HACCP certified kitchen, (2) Professional nutritionist plans menus, (3) Hygienic food preparation and storage, (4) Vegetarian and meat options daily, (5) Special diets accommodated for medical reasons.

Is the campus safe and secure?

Yes, campus security is top priority: (1) 24/7 security personnel, (2) CCTV cameras throughout campus, (3) Controlled access to hostel areas, (4) High boundary walls, (5) Emergency response team, (6) Regular safety drills.

What universities do our graduates attend?

Our graduates are accepted to top universities including: LUMS, FAST-NUCES, COMSATS, Aga Khan University, GIKI, Pakistan Army, Civil Services, and international universities in USA, UK, Canada, and UAE.

Do you provide university counseling?

Yes, career counseling is provided from Class 10 onwards. Guidance is offered for: (1) Stream selection, (2) University choices, (3) Entrance test preparation, (4) Scholarship applications, (5) Career planning.
